 |  | New Zealand Blongging by Post (NZBBP) has been organized by Emma of Laughing Gastronome (hhtp://laughinggastronome.blogspot.com) to celebrate and enjoy food bloggers homecooking nationwide. I got this parcel from Bron Marshall (http://bronmarshall.com). She made her first attempt baking macaroons and purchased other goodies for the occassion. The macaroons were sandwiched with melted white chocolate. The mini tarts were filled with either walnuts, pecans, almonds, or hazelnuts, topped with chocolate caramel and drizzeld with dark cooking chocolate. They tasted delicious! Other goodies which came with them are hazelnut oil which I had used to drizzle green salads; Manuka honey walnuts which taste as sweet as nutty.
Ben and Sarah were sent finger puppets made by Bron's girls. They were very happy and instantly put them on their chosen finger, waved in the air and sang baa baa black sheep! Bron also sent me some smoked salt which I had used some to sprinkle and marinated on to grilled chicken. The smoke flavour definitely gives different taste for a change!
